Necessary storage

The first-party local-storage key ce_consent_v1remembers whether analytics and advertising were accepted or rejected, along with the consent version and update time. It is kept for up to six months, then we ask again. We may ask sooner if the choices or technologies change. This storage is necessary to remember and respect your privacy choice.

Analytics

If a valid GA4 measurement ID is configured and Analytics is accepted, the Google tag can measure page use, one meaningfulenquiry_start event and aenquiry_submit_success event after safe enquiry storage. Enquiry names, contact details, free text, venue details and enquiry references are not included. Consented events may include a query-free page path, landing path, a broad enquiry type, and campaign source, medium or campaign values already stored for attribution.

When enabled, Google Analytics may use first-party cookies such as_ga and a property-specific _ga_… cookie, commonly for up to two years. Exact cookies and durations will be checked against the configured production property before this optional category is enabled.

Advertising

If valid Google Ads conversion configuration is present and Advertising is accepted, a conversion can be sent only after confirmed enquiry storage. It is deduplicated in the browser. Comedy Exchange does not load this tag merely because an enquiry page was visited.

When enabled, Google Ads may use first-party measurement storage such as _gcl_au, commonly for up to 90 days. Advertising personalisation and Google Signals are disabled by this website configuration.

Campaign attribution

With the relevant consent, a session-storage record may retain onlyutm_source, utm_medium,utm_campaign, utm_term,utm_content, a separately consentedgclid, and a query-free landing path. It lasts for the browser session. Arbitrary query strings and full referrers are not stored. The form works without attribution.

After a consented successful submission, a session-storage key beginning ce_conversion_ may prevent duplicate Analytics or Ads success events. It contains only the random form submission key and lasts for the browser session.

Changing your choices

Use Cookie settings in the footer at any time. Necessary storage cannot be switched off through this interface. Analytics and Advertising can be accepted or rejected independently. Withdrawing a category updates Google consent, clears applicable first-party optional storage where possible and stops further optional events without reloading or erasing an unfinished enquiry form.

Not used

No session replay, customer account, marketplace, embedded social widget or CAPTCHA technology has been added. This inventory must be reviewed again if the production implementation changes.
