A considered recommendation
Selection starts with your event.
An awards evening, private event, conference or club booking can each need a different performer. The audience, tone, setting, date, location and entertainment budget all help us recommend the right person.
People often come to us to hire a comedian, book a comedian they already have in mind, or ask about comedy acts for hire when they are not sure who fits. We work across the UK, so you do not need to limit the search to comedians based in your immediate area.
A broad comedy network
From rising talent to household names.
Some events need a brilliant club comedian. Others call for a recognised headline name. Comedy Exchange works across the UK with performers at very different stages of the comedy circuit, so the recommendation can be shaped around the audience, occasion and budget.
Have somebody particular in mind? Tell us. Not sure who you need? That’s exactly what we can help with.
Comedy MCs and event hosts
Someone who can engage the room and keep the event moving.
An experienced comedy MC can welcome the audience, introduce performers, manage transitions and help maintain the pace of a comedy night. A host may also suit an event where confident, audience-aware presentation is part of the brief.
The host's exact responsibilities are agreed to fit the event. An MC can be included in a complete comedy line-up or considered as an individual booking. For the fuller hosting brief, see comedy MCs and event hosts.
After-dinner and awards-style slots are covered separately on after-dinner comedians. Company entertainment is on corporate comedy. Christmas parties are on Christmas party comedy.
