A familiar club brief
Committee-organised nights need comedy that fits the room.
Club events are rarely generic corporate nights. The audience may be members, players, families or invited guests. The room might be a clubhouse, a function suite or a hired venue. The purpose might be raising funds, marking the end of a season, or simply giving members a night out.
Comedy Exchange can recommend an individual comedian, a comedy MC or a fuller comedy-night line-up, depending on the brief. We do not need you to name acts first.
Fundraising and club dinners
Entertainment that gives people a reason to come.
A well-matched comedy night can support a fundraiser without Comedy Exchange taking over the wider event. Ticket income, bar take and other costs still sit with the club. If you are selling tickets, we can discuss suitable places to list the night, including ticketing partners we work with.
Sports dinners and more formal club functions may instead need after-dinner comedy. Charity and community fundraisers that are not club-led are covered on Comedy Fundraisers.
We work with organisers across the UK and with entertainment budgets from around £500 to £50,000, depending on the scale of the night.
